Actually i quite loved MGS2. I liked the character Raiden back then. The codecs between him and Rose i could understand. Sometimes when you love someone and you try to get them to open up to you it takes a long time and it's hard to do. I could correlate with that. I loved the philosophical stuff at the end of MGS2. Alot of people didn't like it but i personally loved it. Information flow and how people can try to manipulate it was a great thing to touch upon. Raiden as a character surpresse...
Almost exactly how i feel. I think the story and cutscenes were better in MGS4 than MGS3. But overall Snake Eater takes it. Surviving in the woods, treating your injuries, the relationship of Big Boss and The Boss. Don't even get me started on the Boss battles. Best compilation of bosses assembled in one game.
Playing through MGS4 i missed the codecs, the kojima charm in the game and the boss fights. The gameplay didn't fell nearly as deep and i think the pysche gauge could have...
Wow. I don't really know what to say. No must have exclusive games...
How about they stop d*cking around and give me a new Test Drive game. But my wants aside Atari has been doing better since Phil Harrison has joined them. Snatching up Ghostbusters, putting out a new ready to rumble (don't know if it's going to be as good as the 2 originals though). Oh yeah and bringing The Witcher to consoles. Not bad. Better than putting out putrid DBZ fighting games twice a year.
On a mass scale you're perfectly right. But that freshness was exactly what i was looking for. Sales wise it has not and more than likely will not be the "Next coming of mario" like many have said in the past it will be. But got damn it if it isn't one of the most refreshing and original games i've played in a good long time. It's my personal game of the year.
I just spent a hour and a half making tweaks to a level i'll publish. I thought i'd only be on for 10 or 15 mi...
Well said. And it's still a month less in the year.
Couldn't agree more. Dues Ex, God of War and Soul Reaver are in my top 5 favorite games of all time. Look at the years they came out. All of them except GoW came out well over 5 years ago.
"Hahahaha suck it down sony"
*kudos to those of you who spot the reference*
Laughing Octopus was always my favorite B&B member. Best boss in the game (except last boss).
Oy you obviously don't know business that well. WHen two major companies are in a huge rivalry like MS's gaming division and Sony's gaming division NEITHER will ever admit defeat. Something like putting one of your staple titles is doing just that. Specially when a race this close. A big powerhouse franchise such as the GoW series. Nice try though at trying to ruffle feathers. I'd give you a B.
Amazing concept art on that site. In fact i've saved a few of them to my comp. Some from...
This game is definitely on my most anticipated list. 2nd to only GoW3. Narrative, story and dialog seem to be severely under rated now a days in gaming.
I have no disagreements with the reasoning. Sure my personal GOTY is LBP but i don't mind the reasoning at all. It's just one group of people's opinion on games for the year. Not really a big problem to me. Gamers opinions have always been different since i was small and some people thought Sonic was better than Mario (hell i still do) MK vs SF etc.
His reasoning can EASILY be summed up like this. It was the most memorable game for the staff at X-Play. Though he did say there was one other game that split up the votes but Fable 2 edged it out.
It's basically saying that "It may not be the best game that came out this year but for our staff it was the most memorable".
I highly doubt that maybe even 15 percent of people in america know who/what BlackWater is. And the concerns unfortunately.
Oy. Take it easy sadtruth. The picture was for sh**z and giggles. Enjoy the satire.
Here's a bubble.
*Laughs my ass off* Did you really just say "Perpendicular"? I haven't heard that word used since junior high school.
I think i speak for everyone when i say the 360 version is the definitive version of Killzone 2 :)
Great read. Though it made me a little sad. SF3 would probably be the last game to come on PSN and XBL because it's animations system.
Most of what i seen on the site seems to be firmware and psn related. Not exactly direct hardware related.
I'll make this brief. The Ps3 was sinking back in 2007 when people were throwing around rumors of Sony cutting the Ps3 altogether and going to work on a new Ps3 (Ps3.5 or Ps4). But that didn't happen. Now that things are better and games are flowing NOW their sinking? I doubt it. The Ps3 is here to stay for the remainder of this gen. While it won't take 1st place that doesn't determine if it was a good console or not. The games and the experience defines a console not the sales. Specially whe...
